A cheaper way to add a custom look to the tail lights of your Expedition is to buy some slotted tail light guards, & spray paint them to match the color of your truck, like I did.
Cost $39.95 from Performance products + $2-3.00 for Spray paint.
Not a big fan of the Alteeza lights. Too many on the road now adays on all the riced out civics and neons, I am actually starting not to like them on the IS300 (U.S. spec. Alteeza), that started the whole trend.

Nope, I saw them on the lexus odessy, er want-a-b-ute years before the IS300 became available
I too have a somewhat mixed / negative view of these. Seems like the only option you have if you want custom tails - and everyone seems to run out and bolt these on to everything from a Civic to dad's old Newport. There is a lack of color that I think I dislike - too much chrome, almost makes the corners look unfinished. I would have to vote for the carbon fiber units as well, keeps the lights from sticking out like a sore thumb (or is it the glimmer of a rice cake??), and they blend to the darker color vehicles well. Too rice-a-delic with all that chrome. Just an opinion - if I HAD to choose I would probably go with E. I won't mention what I think about completely clear tailights - neither the looks or the pain in the a** they seem to be when driving behind them, especially when punks don't even use red bulbs.
i'll agree with ya on the "Completely Clear" lenses. I hate driving behind those things, especially when they put the LED Whites in them...its like having High Beams in your face every time they Brake.

I would have to agree with the above posts with regards to the carbon fiber lights. It looks like you have the Silver XLT Sport with the darker trim (at least that is what it looks like in the pictures in your sig). I have the same color combo (only in a 4X2). I added the Carbon Fiber lights to mine and it really does look good. I did it because (like mentioned before) I thought the chrome would look to RICE. As well, the carbon fiber matches pretty damn close the color of the trim and step-up bars on the truck.
One suggestion, go ahead and add the RED LED lights to the tails. They are brighter yes, but the bulbs that go in the lights are too dark. I am not real crazy about the LED look (am getting used to it), but the brightness I wanted.

The price was part of the deciding factor too. I posted on 2 other boards besides this one, and they all came to one similar point.
"Chrome Altezzas are too "Rice" and wouldnt look good on a truck" I think im going to just keep the clear ones the way they are. My buddy was talking about doing a little Airbrush Customization to give them a more unique look, we'll see what happens once i get them on there. There should be here early next week. Ill get some pics up soon.....
Now maybe on to some clear corners, and some strobes
