good idea, how thick is this on the sidewalls? is it a makeshift for now i can i leave it installed and have it sound ok?
It is pretty much the same thickness of exhaust pipe. It is also galvanized. So it can be left there too. If you pick up a Walker BTM you can slide the muffler over the pipe so it looks like you have a muffler but it is actually straight piped. Come to our tech day saturday and we will take care of it for you.

heres what im gunna do, go to the store get the pipe, get a 45degree elbo, connect a ft piece of pipe on the end of that to exit the truck totally eliminating my over the axel piece that i have, so essentially i would have a straight piece of pipe all the way back, is this ok?

25... I got to the FL line in 17 hours and your house in 22 ;-)
No muffler needed in PA. I haven't had one for 3 years. There is a place near Myerstown, Robisona area who does custom work.
Not to bust your bubble Jeremy but state law does require a muffler, a resonating device of sort. You can get away with it but if you run into that one shop that won't inspect you,.
