hub locks
2000 250 SD V10 4X4
on the front wheel locks. " to engage 4x4" the lettering has worn off,
can anyone tell me how they go to put them in auto mode ?
Is there a tip or trick ?

Yes, assuming the are stock. "righty tighty, lefty loosy. Turn both to the right to lock the hubs. The one on the right turns right towards the front of the truck to lock and the left one turns right towards the back of the truck to lock. You can confirm it by sticking a big screwdriver in your u-joints and they won't turn in the lock mode.
