Bumpy Ride

I've noticed a bumpier ride in my truck in the last week or so. I thought it might have been a busted shock or something, but a visual check hasn't really shown anything. I feels like something suspension-wise. I'm just not sure what to look for. I know its hard to explain in writing, but the truck just doesn't take bumps like it used too. What should i bee looking for here? Could this be something small that I am overlooking?

Hey beav you finally got back.

Try Bouncing the truck when it is still by standing on the bumper and let go,see how many bounce movements it takes to stop.

I found the problem with my truck bouncing. Turned out to be a busted shock, drivers side front. I figure I'll just replace all four shocks while I'm at it. Anyone have any recommendations for a '77 F-250 4X4? I'm looking for something good quality so that they last. I looked into a Rancho 3" lift kit, but it was $918. I can't afford that right now.

I put Monroe HD sence-a-trak Light Truck Shocks on my truck. They make my truck ride a lot better.
