Fresh air into the air cleaner has got to be worth a few hp points alone.

What motor are you running again?

And where's your build thread?!??! Nevermind - you answered this in the other thread. I still think you should have a build thread started so I don't have to sift through this thread for your progress LOL

And for my progress - got my exhaust tips on. yay!

Looks good Aaron! But how does it sound? Any change with the larger diameter tip?

New Shoes

Picked up some gently used 37" Projects. Perfect size for the 4:10's. Plenty of power to turn them and I went from 2800 RPM at 55 to 2800 RPM at 65. Cant wait to calculate my mileage on the next couple tanks!!

Don't forget to calculate the change in speedometer for the distance traveled with those big meaty tires. Lookin good by the way.

Not exactley today but, I did mount a side mirror on the passenger side like the one on the drivers side.
Inside mirror is from a 60´s Thunderbird, outside mirrors is from a Galaxie -65, Stearing wheel is from a Falcon -63 and hubcaps are Fairlane -64.
I´d like to keep in the family

I finally changed out the green brushed hood for the original blue hood. Changed the look a lot.

Kind of ironic or coincidental that the bed is red and the fender is green - like the logo on the driver's door! Now that's Italian! I like the Bright Dark Blue Metallic myself.

Today I finally drove mine. Probably about 10-15 miles. I took it around the block a few weeks ago, but today I needed to run to Lowes and decided to take the truck, even though the car would've been big enough. I cranked it twice and it sounded like the battery was getting kind of low, so I got out and popped the choke closed on my POS McParts reman carb. Then it fired right up! I think the only constant draw is my stereo.

It was more enjoyable than taking my Corolla, even though the Corolla has AC...

I'm not intentionally blacking out my truck but I like it more and more with every parts I change.
I love the cab lights. They are going on my wishlist, right under “truck”, which I need to get first.

Thanks!! If you or anyone here gets the PartsAM cab lights, remember the instructions are written wrong. White wire is ground and black wire is power.

Today, I did some troubleshooting on my cheap piece of crap Chinese NSS. Gotta order another one, but this time a quality Motorcraft. Until I get it, I will continue to start my truck by jumping the starter solenoid. Oh, joy!!
