advise needed - swapping motor
I'm planning on doing a switcheroo on the motors/trans on two trucks.
The truck that I drive is a 77 F250 Supercab w/460 and C6.
My other truck is a 76 F150 w/390 and NP435.
Nothing wrong with either truck, I just prefer the 390/np435 setup.
I've never done this before, the most i've done is change a 65 manual steering to power steering. I will have some help available.
If anyone has any suggestions, words of wisdom, or recommended study areas, I'd appreciate it.
I read that taking off the front clip is the easiest way, if I go that route could I take the entire motor w/accessories and tranny together as one piece?
