boost gauge fluttering

so i have a fluttering problem at any psi higher then 10psi. its tapped into the map and i put in a brass fitting with ferrel fitting but it still does it. i have a black map which i hear is junk and i should get a gray one. could the map itself be my fluttering problem? or could it possibly be a bad gauge? i have autometer phantom series.

it seems like all the autometers I know of do that... my ISSPRO does not flutter at all, but my sunpro before really fluttered alot.

Check to make sure those dam ferrels did not turn a little when you were screwing it together. This is what happened when we were putting the gauges into my buddy's dodge, it still flutters a little bit but I think that is just an autometer gauge thing.

i think its auto meter gauges. i was reading that if you take the brass T that you tapped into the map with and jb weld it closed and drill a tiny hole in the jb weld it will constrict flow to the gauge and stop or reduce the fluttering. i havent tried it yet though so idk if it works or not
