Has anyone ever used Ebay can corners on there 79's ?
I did a 79 a few years ago and the corners seemed to hang down 1/2 inch further than they should.
I thought i did something wrong ,but Im doing a set now and they fit the same way.
They can only sit in one place.
I was wondering if they were made to be cut off on the bottom or something?
when I did mine a few months ago I got the cheap taiwan sh#t at first. I swear they were for a completly different truck they fit so bad! So instead of fighting them and having it turn out like crap I ordered some from dennis carpenter and they were PERFECT! Needless to say I sent the first ones back. Spend just a little bit more for the D.C. ones and you'll be amazed at the difference.

I kinda thought that might be the problem, I already have 1 tacked on so i guess ill make the best of it.
I did the same thing, only I wrestled mine in and made it fit, had it almost completely welded in, and I thought I should hang a door on just to check.........and it wasn't pretty! I ended up cutting it back out. Good luck
I think you are gonna have to trim the bottom off. They are made to have a lot of overlap in every direction so you can trim the piece to the exact size you need.
