glad to know it's numbered for dummys like me. haha. i will be pulling it apart this weekend if it dries up enough for me to get to the truck. thanks a bunch guys. this is great info. i'm surprised there isn't a sticky up here on how to do the conversion with as often as y'all are asked the question. haha. maybe something we could work on??

My '89 does not and the '89 Ford published schematics shows it as only for the 351 and 460. I'll try to scan that section tonight. The pages are HUGE.

THe sensor has the heater, its just not hooked up.

Weird. I have a 302 with a 3-wire heated sensor...

The sensors have three wires.

The ground is not hooked up however on the 302.

Here is from the Ford troubleshooting manual. It matches the Ford schematic.

That's strange. I have power and ground to the O2 sensor on my 87...I just checked with the voltmeter this weekend. I wonder why some are hooked up and some are not.
