question about sliding compound mitre saw
I have a 12" Rigid sliding compound mitre saw. It is mounted on a Rigid folding table. When it is folded and stored vertically, the saw is hanging on sideways.
Is that bad for the saw during longterm storage? Will it put undues stress on the slide tubes?

Have the 12" Dewalt and there's nothing mentioned in the manual or on their web site. I would suspect if Ridgid offers the saw--table combo then is should be okay, probably best to contact their tech support particulary if any warranty issues.
