electric problem help
01f250 v10.the altenator went bad killing the battery with it.Replaced the alt with a new 130 amp and a new battery. cleaned all the cables up and the grounds when hooking up the battery.Now the volt meter on dash goes up and down like crazy and when the headlights are on you can see them pulse and the high beam light stays lit on the dash.had the alt tested at 2 different places and they say its good. I personally think its the voltage regulator but supposedly thats good. any ideas of where to look or how to trouble shoot ?..thanks

Probably the voltage regulator. New doesn't always mean good, unfortunately. Re-checking the connections would be wise also.
Are you getting a pulsed reading when you connect up a voltmeter to the battery or alternator output?
There was a similar thread here in the SD forum a couple weeks back, but I could not find it via search.
