its perfectly to acceptable to stack blocks or weld huge spring pads to rockwell axles.
no really, just look at all the trucks built like that. It must be ok.

But the stock rockwell gears are too low, you need to go aftermarket to get the 3.55's to be able to turn 44's decently at highway speeds...

looks like sumthin straight outta that one pic thread compiltation thing called "scary steering" or something. The sqaure tube lift block is getting to be a real popular lift method amongst our veteran master fabricators.
