Yamato (Jasper) engine

Yamato (Jasper) engine
I am looking at buying a Yamato (used to be Jasper) reman engine long block 5.0 for my 91 f250 4x4. Any suggestions good or bad and should I go with the RV cam or standard engine. I haven't had anything to do with rebuilt engines for years and past experience wasn't that great. Any thing I should be aware of ?

I had to buy a remanufactured engine a little while ago, went with orilley auto parts since they were the cheapest and I didn't have to deal with shipping. They were almost 1/2 the price I was quoted with the jasper. Since the install I threw a new cam in it and have worked the wee out of it pulling my 7000 lb trailer. The engine is still kicking strong.
What do you do with your truck? The RV cam will be nice if you haul/tow/offroad and can use more low end torque.

Jasper engine
We have limited choices up here in Canada, Jasper seems to be it,other than Ford. The Ford rebuilt is 1/3 more money with not as good a warranty. I tow a trailer and or a camper so some extra jam won't hurt.
