I would like to put some bilstien shocks on My truck. I have really heavy duty springs on the rear of My truck. I do not know how to get the right ones. How do I figure out what shock I need for My truck
I would also like the best place to order them from
If anyone has a minute or two and they would like to give me some help with My questions It would be greatly appreciated
Thanks
Ron
Shockwarehouse.com is a sponsor on here. I think they give a discount for FTE users. I can't remember exactly what it is. I got my Bilsteins from them. I have the same truck you do only with the 6.8l. Made a big difference!
Thanks Ameinig,
I like the site and I found the shocks that will fit on a stock truck. My only problem is the rear of My truck sits really high. I have 7 leave springs and a 3 7/8" block on the back. the front is stock but I am really sure the back is not a stock height.
I just do not have an answer for this. Maybe one of you very intelligent truck guys can help
Thanks again Ameinig

That sounds like stock rear set up for 1999 250. Mine is stock in the rear and is the same. I put an Icon mini spring pack leveling kit on the front. Sits just slightly high in the rear now. I bought the stock length Bilsteins and they fit just fine. When I bought it the rear was very high compared to the front.
We do have a 5% discount for any FTE members, just use the discount code "ford5" at checkout. Here's the page for your truck: 1999 Ford F250 4WD shocks,
