Hi!
New guy here, so feel free to tell my what I'm doing wrong.
I've searched this site (and others for this info., but can't quite seem to find what I'm looking for, so:
I recently aquired an '85 F350 dually 8' Flatbed F350 with a 351W - 4 barrel stock and a 4.10 rear end. Before I do a pile of body and brake work on this beast I would really like to know what kind of mileage to expect. Obviously it'll be horrible, but having a '78 Chevy C65 as my other truck, I'm use to such trials. I would dearly appreciate thoughts from anyone with a similar setup or those who think can make an accurate guess.

A wild guess would be 10-12mpg. Automatic will be worse, stick shift a little bit better.

If its tuned good and kept under 60 I bet you can get 12 out of it. 4:10's really hurt milage above 60 though unless you are working it.
