All right. I have this issue, I don't know exactly how to discribe it so here goes. I have noticed that when I am cruising at 70-75mph, my '06 F350 powerstroke will for lack of a better discription, studder. This only lasts for a fraction of a second, but I notice it. The other day while driving home in the rain, at 70+, on cruise, it did the same thing, but this time with a noticable shake or vibration that could be felt. Has any one had a similar issue, and should I be concerned? My truck has 68K miles on it, the dealer recently replaced the EGR valve, EGR valve cooler, and then the head gaskets chasing a coolant use issue. The dealer said that the reason that the head gasket blew was because the turbo was " over boosting, " due to the removal of my cat. converter. I have talked with several people that say this is BS, but at this Ford dealer, the service guy indicated that he might not be able to cover any future problems which he says are related to the removal of the cat. On that note, does any body have any thoughts on extended warranties? Are they worth it? Any good ones? I know I wrote a lot, but I would appreciate any help. Thanks PS I have not noticed this issue when not on cruise.
