My truck ('72 F-100 4x4 with manual steering) is in storage a considerable distance from where I'm living right now, but I've got a deal on a steering column that I think will work well with a custom steering setup that I'm working on. Trouble is, I can't measure my column to make sure. Anyone have these figures or a tape measure handy?
I need to know:
The total length of the steering column from the box all the way to the wheel.
The length of the shaft from the box to the firewall.
The length of the column from the firewall to the wheel.
Anyone know those figures or willing to measure their truck for me? Thanks a bunch in advance.
