'79 dash Pad
Has anyone removed there's?
I have my dash apart right now, and wondered if anyone has done this, didn't want to put it backand have to take it apart again.
I was trying to chase a vac leak, i couldn't track it. so, replaced insturment panel light.
any help appreciated

If your truck is A/C equipped; need to remove or adjust the A/C duct's back way from vents. There 10 nuts; two per section. 1 set at the both ends of the dash pad near door (A post); 1 set between/ center of dash bezel; & one set between radio & glove box door, one set center of glove box door. The ones between bezel & glove box (above radio) has one of the nuts on face of dash, the rest are facing downward from the dash pad. You can get access with the heater/A/c switch panel loose but it has to be loosen and push back as well.

awesome, seems simple enough.
I checked it out last night.
Im thinking that when its off, its time to probably repaint the dash and remove and replace the steering wheel and remove the other plstic trim parts for cleaningand paint prep.
