not starting a fight---please no arguing. Just lookin for why people like the 100 mph speedo? I have one in the truck i am parting out, and was curious if there was a reason other than looks that the 100 mph speedo gets swapped out all the time?
Just personal preference i guess, they're not rare, '77 was the change over year from 100 to 85 so their's more 100mph speedos out there than there are 85mph speedos.
Anyone know exactly when Ford switched to the 85 speedometer? I have a 77 F100 and have seen photos of both installed in what claimed to be original trucks. Maybe it was a mid year switch?
