thank you guys! i really appreciate all your time and help.
now to take her on my first little road trip.
wish me luck.
oh man.what a wonderful powerful truck!
im right in love!
took her over to my sisters and had her drive it.she loves it too.
we took her to a self wash, and i gave her,her first washing(the truck, not my sister lol).

she feels really nice and powerful with tight steering.
takes very little effort to cruise right along.have to watch the speedo often,or you find yourself well above the speed limit in a hurry lol.
can't wait to open up that stock exhaust now.
its going to make a very, very nice work truck.can't wait to toss a load on it and see how she likes it.

iv got some pics of her in my garage.
the stake sides are not on her yet.i haven't put these back on.i'l need the extension mirrors first.plus, work this time of year for me,is pretty dry.but she'll be in this setup most of the time(stake body).
i'l toss my stake body on tomorrow tho for a pic.just for the fun of it,so iv got one for the garage lol.
anyway, here's how she sits right now:
except for that fender.i had to toss some bondo in that lower rust hole you see to pass inspection lol.
(she's getting a couple fenders actually and a paint job this spring or summer.)
Ford Trucks for Ford Truck Enthusiasts
i grabbed some low cost strap on extension mirrors(4 bucks each! so i had to grab them for now.)they actually seem to be pretty good.i think they'll work for now.im thinking of west coast mirrors.but i'll get them and drill the holes etc, right before i have it repainted.
anywho,here she is all together:
this one here, shows the wavy bondo fender.thats why im replacing them both prior to paint.
but hey, she's looking more and more like a good work rig.
i need a couple underbody toolboxes now and rig up a ladder holder along the side, and a couple straps to hold a rake/shovel etc.
she's coming along.
i know,little tires right.
but loading big chunks of wood is hard,i want to keep the rig as low as possible.its a dump body,so it raises it up as is.i had to bring her down somehow.still high. 45" ground to bed.would have been 46+ with stock sneaks.that inch means a lot when your tossing up a good size stick of wood, especially at the end of the day.im going to rig up a swinging arm/winch to lift wood.iv already got a winch.
i haven't hooked up to my chipper yet.ah well, that's another pic for the garage latter on lol.

so sometime this spring/summer:
custom exhaust.
two fenders + paint job.
chrome rims from mid-latter 90's PS trucks.
underbody tool boxes.
custom built 4 or 5 overload spring pack and U-bolts.
and a few other smaller things.
i'l know soon enough if i want to start looking for a good used turbo.empty, she sure doesn't need one lol.but for hauling,i just don't know yet.
