So I've noticed recently that my 302 (or so the seller claimed) has valve covers that are stamped as a 351w but my catalytic is rated for a 302. How can I definitively tell what the heck is under my hood?
And while I've got your attention, will a stock 2bl carb suffice? I need to replace the current one and would like some input on what direction to go.
The 351 valve covers will fit on a 302. The only way to know for sure is to check the picture up above and see what matches up on your truck. The 2 barrel carb will work but if it was me and I was going to replace the carb I would go to a 4 barrel carb.
