Here is what i got. I can start my truck and let it sit for 20 min the heater will still be blowing out cold air. But once i go like a mile to two mile down the road its blowing hot air but once i stop and set for 5 min back to cool air. What is wrong here.

hmph at least yours blows hot, mine is only warmer than ambient...if I have time I'm going to try out a rad cover. Do you have a ton of ice/snow on the vent intakes? (just in front of the windshield, behind the hood, where the windshield squirters are). There is no graceful way to recirc cabin air on our trucks. The only option on the controls which recircs is "max a/c"

the no heat makes me think its the heater core that seems to be the usuall case for my other cars. but if it does eventually blow hot air im wondering if the thermostat has something to do with it?
