I'm driving a station wagon!!! Here's the story: My 1998 Chrysler Sebring droptop died...186K miles, guess I got my moneys worth out of it. Wife says we have to get a family vehicle since we now have a grandson. I say we have a family vehicle (my 2003 F350 7.3l dually) but the wife doesn't drive it. Of course, she won't give up her Miata. Sooooo, out car shopping we go.
Looked at a bunch of crossovers....Murano, Mazda CX6, Toyota Venza, but we settled on.........a very nice 2007 FORD Edge SEL w/ AWD. Drove it through the blizzard 2 weeks ago (only 6" of snow) and it did GREAT!! Plus, it had the absolutelys have to have: heated seats and dual zone climate controls. We fight like cats n dogs in the F350, she keeps cranking up the heat and I keep cranking it down. Now, she can bake over there unless she's having a power surge, and I can keep my butt warm at 65'.........
