Gas Mileage
I am thinking about buying an older 1995 F700 rated at 26,000 GVWR, manual 6-speed, 429 EFI engine with a 16ft flatbed. What can I expect to get as far as mileage on this truck on the highway with no load as well as loaded down. I am thinking of using it to carry logs & pull a small pulp trailer. Overall trip per day would be about 60 miles roundtrip and close to 7-10K miles per year so gas mileage is a concern.
