We had the tranny in, my stepson was finishing up the rear driveshaft and I had started it to warm everything to check the transfluid. Suddenly he is yeling "shut off!! shut it off!!". I ran around and killed it fast. Got under the truck and instead of leaking transfluid I had engine oil pouring on the ground!! I was sick to my stomach and tought that I had some how blew a head gasket. Come to find out he had snapped the oil pressure line when he was doing the top two tranny bolts. 10 minutes and one ferrule later it was running again and now it goes down the road!!man I missed my truck.
ahh.he did that on purpose just to keep ya on your toes.
so this tranny seems to be shifting good and everything?
you know for a fact all your trans lines are clear, and the cooler is free flowing right?
man.i sure hope you got a good one this time.them C6's are tuff.you'd never have guessed that tho with your experience with 'em lol.
good luck man!
(i dont have you confused with someone else i hope lol.your the guy whos been going through the c6's lately right? if not, nevermind my above comments lol.)
YA it is me lol. I blew the lines out with just a hose and wind pressure to be sure. The fluid flowed easy with just a little pressure. This tranny is shifting kinda hard but it could just be my vacum control needs to be adjusted a little for this perticular tranny. Atleast I hope so. It just has to last till I can swap in a t-19 in I hope a couple months. I have never had any luck with auto trannies anyways this just proves that they don't like me lol.
