In the midst of pulling my front leaf springs out I broke both brake lines. The issue is the truck has a 12" lift and they are extended length lines. Is there anyone that can help since ORU, Orme Bros. and 4wheelparts are all closed for the weekend.
Thanks Steve. I finally have the front of the truck put back together minus the brake lines. Ill just wait till tomorrow morning and give Orme Bros. a call. I tried a hundred places by phone. Only one Napa in Glendale would even try to help me.
PS. Dont ever use the NAPA in Santa Clarita. The guy there is an ***.
Orme Brothers is your best bet, anyway. They are the most professional fabricators of hoses of which I'm aware. Good people, and they all seem to drive Ford pickups, too. They know what you need, and build it to last. Reasonably-priced, too.
Well after speaking with the guys over at Orme Brothers yesterday I decided not to use them. The issue being that I was not at all close to my truck yesterday and I need them to just be able to make the new hoses. When I spoke to them yesterday morning they explained to me that they would need my old hoses so that they could use the old fittings. The price was going to be around 110 plus tax. I called over and talked to Dave at Sweet Performance Products, Inc (Powered by CubeCart) , not only was Dave able to make new hoses for me he didnt need to have a single part off of my truck and he was able to send them out last night so I will have them today. Best part is he was much more reasonable with his pricing too.
