Hey all. Truck is 83 F150 2wd AOD with 300CID I6 (4.9) Carb'd
The PO cut the exhaust off after the manifold downpipe. I'm trying to find resources to replace the entire exhaust. Whatever is cheaper. I for some reason can't seem to find anywhere that sells a complete OE Replacement. So if anyone knows where to get one reasonably priced let me know. I'm debating whether to go OE replacement or custom from a shop locally. I need the whole system including the Catylitic convertor.

Finally...someone that wants to put an exhaust BACK ON their vehicle.
Most everyone wants to take everything off and run loud pipes, lolol.
As far as your truck, take it to an exhaust place and have them put the
stock size aluminized pipes back on with a Flowmaster 70 muffler. The
70 series FM is going to be the quietest one of the bunch and still sound
good. You can put a junkyard cat back on or spend a few $$ for a
replacement cat. Any cat will do for your truck, because its just a 6 cyl.,
as long as its designed for your truck. It shouldn't cost more than about
$400 at most to redo the entire truck using your existing manifold.
