Vacuum line hookup.
I have a vacum line loose under the hood, of my 2003 7.3. It appears to be gray,{ I am partially color blind) and come from over the passeger fender well and is dangling around behind the a/c drier. The only place that I can find that it will fit, is a solid pin on part of the a/c air box, I think. This plugs the vacuum line. Is this where it goes?

If you have a shut-off valve in the heater hose, it goes to that. Some vehicles do not have the valve, but have the vacuum harness there anyway. If that's the case, it just goes to the boss on the case so as not to cause a vacuum leak.
