Whats this worth?
A friend of mine who has a 1999 F250 w/7.3 just came across a private sale 2002 F250 w/7.3. The truck is a full load crewcab, 6.5 ft box, 140000 km, one owner, without a scratch. Older guy, just a bit of rv towing, no off road.
Whats it worth? The guy bought a new truck and is selling it privately - last of the 7.3 engines!

I saw one not to long ago and the guy was asking $19.5, it had a few more miles but that is all I know about the truck.

With that low of kms, the seller could probably get over 20k for it.

I was going to say 15-16g. If you got it for 12g, you'd be laughing!

Sounds pretty close to about right what hes asking. I still think he could get more, with it being a late model 7.3 and such very low km's.
They hold their value really really well, the truck market is definately cheaper now though, and in all honesty, its getting to be an old truck!

The problem with kijiji, and autotrader.ca in this case is the low mileage. Makes it tougher to figure out a fair market price.

True enough but once in a while a low miler shows up, you just have to look abit longer and harder for one.

You bet. I just checked on kijiji, there is a red one with a 7.3, 130,000 kms for 23k.
Nice enough truck, but 23k should get newer...
That red 08 on sgi salvage sold for 25 something.

My thoughts too, alot newer.
$25,000 is what, about half of new with all the incentives?
