Pulling codes, '91 3.0 2WD
This van has a no-start when warm problem which most likely is a bad ECT, according to what I've read here. However I want to try to pull codes first rather than just switch parts and guessing. I'll be using MIL since I don't have a code reader.
Big problem is, I can't find the connector that I'm supposed to ground in order to start the test. It's supposed to have a white/pink wire going to it according to the wiring diagram for this van.
The only connector I've found so far that's hanging loose has a green outer part and a red inner section with slots for either 4 or 5 spade-type connectors but I don't see how that could be the right one.
Very frustrating, both Haynes and Chilton aren't clear on exactly where various connectors are or what they really look like.
Would appreciate some ideas. Next stop for this rig will be the boneyard if I can't get this sorted out, since it's pretty tired anyway, just want to be able to use it a little while longer.

Update
I found the test connectors and got a cheap code checker. I stopped after doing the KOEO since I got codes 22,41,52,87 and 96.
So without testing with engine on, I'm looking at a couple of hunded bucks worth of parts for a van that would maybe be worth 500 if I replaced these parts.
So I think it's time for it to go to the wrecker, I wouldn't sell it to someone the way it is.
