F-250 restorer,

Go to this forum and sign up... http://www.xfalcon.com/forum/index.php I received a very warm welcome and received a lot of info from the mates down under. They would love to hear of your build and see your car ****. It is very interesting to see the similarities and the differences in our Fords and theirs. There is also a GM division called Holden which has some interesting rides which we are not allowed to have. Well at least I can not aford to have one.

Heres a link to my intro thread... xFalcon.com - XD-XE-XF Falcon Owners Club

For those who have not found it check out the first link on the right of the page. I am at work and GM will not allow to go to that site. Some interesting reading on the aluminum head progress and a bunch of other neat stuff to surf...

http://falconperformance.sundog.net/links.asp

Well, that may not be the correct link I will check when I get home. I beleive it is one of them in that list. It has a lot of posts by i think AZCOUPE.

Enjoy
Jim

Thanks for the link. Yes, I've learned that I was wrong. They never had and Australian X flow head. I just thought I had read about one somewhere. I guess it was wishful thinking.

Some great links and an excellent thread. I, for one, am glad to see this info HERE, where it "should be" on OUR site. All ford stuff. I've been finding it all over the place and relish it's arrival here - or may B I'm such a newbie I aint seen it here.
BTW: AZCoupe is a hacker (autos/'puters) who has alot of clifford, fordsix, in-linesix and sundry involvement plus a sales interest.

Yes, this seems to be the case. But as you and all should know when you surf the waves of the world wide web there are no life guards... surf at your own risk. Research everything to your comfort level.

Hang ten dude & surf safe

(BTW "dude" was not directed at you... it was tongue in check)

Take Care
Jim

a hacker

You may have me to credit for that 'label'. Just like "gear head" I am envious of these titles when given in sincerity. I have none of these skills and know it takes time, skill and effort. I'm a bit of a garage rat (hang @ buddies' places, watch n learn) and am blown away by some of the stuff done, project's end results. Some of the 'puter stuff likewise. U may note I honored the gentleman (he's helped me on the phone as well as w/posts) w/the Double title. If anything could be carved out of my comments as questionable it was the proviso: "he is also a salesman" al la the 2nd gentleman's comment about being wary while surfing the great wide waves of the net. Some call it "healthy skepticism". What's the latin "caviat emperator" or some such gobbeldegook?
Would you please comment on my response - continue on the dialogue?

he wasn't down under @ xfalcon.com while I wuz there (just now), but purchases (or their associated syndicate) from the OZ-men I assume ("hey, kid, don't DO dat. When U assume U make an *** of U and me"). Get it? That's why I asked 4 your continued dialogue...

My comments were relative to the fact that he is a salesmen. I am always skeptical of salespeople. I know nothing of him being a hacker. I do believe he has skills in computers and automotive which are at a higher level than mine.
