dose any one know if the soled back window is the same size as a slide back window becose i want to take my slider out of my77 and put my 75s solid one in can that be done ?
yes they are the same. Interesting enough I believe the back windows are the same all the way up to 1996
More correctly speaking, they are all interchangeable 1973-1996 F-series.
There are differences.
Most notably, the 1980-1996 solid rear windows are thinner than their 1973-1979 counterparts. There are also seal differences, so you should match the year of the seal with the year of the window you get.
Then of course there are different tints etc, and the slider window changed in 1982. There is more talk about seals and windows in a recent thread if you do a search.
Solid glass window and Slider glass are interchangeable, but the rubber gaskets are different for our trucks. How come you are no longer using the slider? I sent you a message...
