'66 axle ?s

I was wondering if anybody knows the measurements and spline count on a '66 f-100 short box original 9 inch rear. I am trying to keep from having to take mine apart in the rain, and I know some one that might have an axle for me.

You sure this is a 9" rear axle?

Ford offered, as an option, both the Spicer-Dana 44 (w/Limited Slip) and the Spicer-Dana 60.2 (w/ or w/o Limited Slip) rear axles for these trucks.

Both have an inspection cover on the back, the 9" does not.

B7TZ4234A .. Axle Shaft-28 splines / Right/Left is the same / Obsolete

Fits: 1957/67 F100 w/a 9" rear axle.

CARPENTER NOS OBSOLETE PARTS in Concord NC has ONE = 704-786-8139.

No Ford Dealer, no other obsolete parts vendor has any.
