I opened a support ticket..

a week or so ago, to no avail. So I'll try here ...

The "go to first unread post " button hasn't worked for me for a while now . I have to go to the last post button ,& work my way back from there ,or start at the beginning& re read the whole page (very annoying).
Also , after I read a post & refresh the page , the post's I have read ,are still highlighted , since I can hide my own Easter eggs, I find myself re reading posts...... often .

Any help would be appreciated....

Agreed. When I was having problems a while back, I went into my internet options and deleted my browsing history, cookies, and temporary internet files. Worked like a charm.

Clearing the cookies fixed it (it appears ) . the odd thing was , it was only this site that did it . All the others worked properly

On edit , it worked on one post only ,then it went back to not showing the post as read

Is there a place on the site itself to clear cookies ?...

You can set your browser to clear cookies every time you close it. That's what I do,,, makes it so I don't have to do it manually. I have it purge history, and temporary files too.
