A little help with lean bank codes

Ok so I have had the lean bank codes come and go on my truck for a awhile now. Its a 97 f150 supercab shortbed 4.6 5 sp. I have used the search function and looked it up many times. I have checked the vacuum lines, replaced the bad ones and the elbow, pvc valve. I havent done anything to O2 sensors yet, can that be an issue. So here is a thought that I have had. My fuel tank sending unit leaks around the gasket if its completely full and parked facing downhill. So I have heard of more unusal things causing stupid things, so does anyone think that could be sucking air into the fuel system and causing lean codes in both banks? I was just wondering if all you guys with a lot more experience would think about this. Does it seem logical?
