Kevin I always though the Threshermen's show was in August? I drove in the parade acouple times in the past.
Mitch
It's been the third week in July since I started going back in '01. How long ago was it in August? Working on my parade "butt buggy" slowly but surely....
Even in July it's still hot. First year I went I took my pop up canopy and everyone was standing under it just to get cool. Last year was surprisingly cool. Wasn't that hot until you got out int the open field or near a steam engine. I try toget up under thetrees near the school whereI don't have touse the canopy as much.
Since you've carified that the dates conflict; I guess I'll miss this year threshing show; miss last year due to work. The town of adams is a cool place to hold this event.
I plan on going to the truck show if all goes well; to help support this event.
Can any of you guys inform me of a Ford Truck Vendor here in the area at all??? I'm looking for one for the show. I figured there's gotta be somebody that sells restoration parts of some sort.
These guys are not Ford truck vendors but do work closely with Ford community here in Middle TN Maximum_Dyno-8 . They have a portable dyno and I know that would bring the Gen1 and Gen2 Lightning guys out. The Lightning community is big around here also.
I updated the first post with our flier. They were done and dropped off to me while I was at the Hunter's Expo show this weekend with my blazer.
You can register on the website and pay through paypal. Remember all the entry fees will go to charity. Hope to see you guys there. I know we're going to have a good amount of Chevy's, but I really want this show to be versatile.
