Hi everyone, The deal is that we got alot of snow here in Va. So I go out and get stuck. Two wheels on passenger side went into a ditch. They were the only wheels spinning. I am suppose to have limited slip in both axles. If I jack the truck up and turn the tires the one on the other side turns in the same direction but in the snow, well it makes me ??????????????????? Thanx!

You have a piece of crap (almost all stock are) limited slip in the rear. the front is open. If you plan on doing any serious time either off road or in the snow and ice, I would put lockers in the front and rear, selectables are best, followed by a good limited slip (truetrac). Going with spools or standard detroits will make daily driving a challenge. A cheaper option is a set of chains.

My LS dont seem to do much at all and mine is brand new. If yours is a 2000 its probably pretty worn out as it is. When the last time you changed the diff fluid and did you use modifier? You want to only use enough to prevent the tires from chattering on a hard turn on dry pavement...
