Go easy on me guys I'm to attend the GTG in the rental
I swung by the dealership today and inquired hoping that I'd have my van this Saturday morning.
Nope.
They are still working on it, its been a week since it became a 'priority'.
The service manager was there and had a nice chat with her.
The service writer was there too and he affirmed that I've been sweet as pie.
The service manager mentioned that I was one of the service department's best customers.
I then said TY, and mentioned that I continue to prefer that they work my van by the hour and get it right, than to slap it together at book rate and chance that I might come back under warranty.
The service manager commented on my hat, and the service writer then mentioned my jacket, so I took that opportunity to go back out to the rental car and retrieve my jacket.
I then explained that I purchased the jacket through their parts dept. and got the limited edition hat through the BBS and that I am the leader of the Connecticut Chapter
So, I hope that my investment in pleasantries pays off.

Even the submarine base was closed to non-essential personnel. That meant that those who were the 'duty section' covering the watch standing for the 0800 - 0800 day were required to carry-on till the roads opened back up. They were not too thrilled about that.
The first day of the storm was my wife's first day at her new job. My wife's job was convenient as she was able to walk the couple miles to work and I had the only car to go to the submarine base, when she got there the place was closed, so she turned around and trudged back home, by then I was home too.
