Heehee....Knew that would wake you up John! Not going too bad, except for the new layer of white crap we got today. How are things with you?

 

Going great buddy! We're getting pounded with snow and I'm off until Monday...WOOHOO!! At least I'm off anyways. Not much else to speak of. Work's been busy as heck.

Oh yeah and here's one for dumb crook news: Around 4:30 this morning, we got a call from a guy who had two snow shovels stolen off his front porch. We go to the house and track this moron thief by the footprints he left in the new fallen snow, all the way to his house. Outside the house, we find the two snow shovels leaning up against the wall....and the walk wasn't even shoveled off! And true to form, he initially denied it.....until we asked him the second time. Worst part is he's one of our regulars and should be well versed in proper and successful thievery. What an idiot!

 

Ah, stupid people. If it wasn't for them, who would we have to laugh at!!LOL! How much are you guys supposed to get?

 

I looked outside after I got up about an hour ago or so and we've got about 10 inches or so now. I think it's kind of dwindled now and they're talking about it turning to rain now.

 

Wow. The rain will make it a nice mess! I know up in Delaware and Maryland, they are preparing for a good old-fashioned butt-kicking snow storm.

 

Yeah it's going to be a mess. They just showed on the news that we can expect an additional 4 inches of snow tonight mixed at times with rain. UGH! I'd rather just have all snow if it's going to do something.

How are things in Nebraska Pat? I'll probably drop in up there and post in a bit. I think I'm going to venture out shortly to do a bit of exploring...LOL....cabin fever.

 

Wet and snowy. Slow day here at the plant. Steve and I were chasing each other all over this morning, I had 100 post by 10:30 this morning! Crazy.

 

Since I've been on midnights, my posting has been at a snail's pace. May pick back up next week when I hit dayshift though. Lots going on though. They're changing the shift structure (hours worked) at work so I'm having to go through a bunch of scheduling changes with my people. One of my guys is off for 12 weeks now with a newborn so I've got another one coming in to temporarily replace him. Plenty of headaches.

 

Those changing schedules are tough. I don't envy you having to change all the time, hard on the body, bud!

 

Yeah it's not the best in the world...LOL. It'll get better one of these days though...........when I retire.

 

No snow in NY. Friend of mine is thinking about buying some land in VA so he can ride his snowmobile.
