I picked up a new to me 1991 F250 yesterday with an eye-popping 56k miles for a song. Anyway, I was browsing CL for a shell and found a guy who wants to get rid of one from off of a 2001 F250. Both trucks are longbeds.
So my question, is the longbed still the same dimensions between the two or are the different at all in width or length?
Im not totally sure so don't quote me on it and im sure someone with more know than me will come along. but i think that the shape and height of it would be different like the roof heights wouldn't match and wouldn't line up with the cab.
um, seems silly to have to say this, but get a tape measure and measure your truck (bed width, length, and height from top of bed to top of roof), then ask the guy selling the shell to measure that (or the truck it came off of) .. compare the results ..

Yeah, I'll likely do that now, but I was curious last night when I posted ~11:30, didn't figure the fella would like a call that late.
