Evening all! Those complaining about the winter now will be complaining about the rain of spring and the heat of summer and to anyone that fits in that category you have 2 choices-hit the lottery and move to Hawaii or to quote the Eagles "GET OVER IT"

 

I think you have it backwards Steve-NO shadow=early spring. If the rodent/roadkill sees his shadow its 6 more weeks. I could be wrong, after all I did once think I was wrong (but I was mistaken)

well smarty pant..i love the summer heat and the spring rain. i just hate the winter

 

Howdy Mary's Land. If you remember me mentioning Ursula, she's mine ( till I find her a new home ). My niece decided she liked The Beast, so I agreed to take Ursula & some money down, then let her make payments on the rest. Put some pictures of her ( & by the way, my niece named her. Said that was George of the Jungle's girlfriend in a movie ). I would say the body is very good, no sign of rust. My niece got her in Ariz. years ago ( used to live in Phoemix ). Her specs are listed in the description in My Album. What I know is my niece was complaining it was drinking gas. She said that after she started up here ( approx. 125 - 150 miles away ), it wouldn't idle. She filled the radiator & added oil before leaving. Haven't even tried to start it yet or do much with it. Just took the plates off & helped her get what she wanted from in it before she left. Found the following items in it: New - in box thermostat w/gasket. 3 or 4 New - in box Autolite 46 plugs. Supposedly she had ALL the injectors replaced. She said they weren't working. How was it running? I don't know. Her husband replaced the plugs ( I remember him telling me how he busted a couple off & couldn't get them out ). He was saying something about the vac. lines, not sure exactly what. Just traded stuff out today & it's chilly out there. Haven't done anything & not planning to until it gets warmer. Almost forgot, she said something about it was " clattering ". Not sure what she means, maybe when I start it I'll see. Not sure whether I want to even mess with it or just sell it " as is ". Never planned on keeping it anyway, I've got Old Rusty & don't want / need two trucks. Digital odometer, can't even tell you haw many miles it shows because I've never even turned the key.
