A friend and I were talkin about Ford's actual 427 SOHC "Cammer" from back in the late 60's and then the conversation switched to me still trying to purchase a 6th gen Ford truck. He thought it'd be kewl to put the SOHC in an old Ford tuck. Does anyone see any MAJOR problems with this?

Reason: spelling
only thing wrong wtih it is even a reproduction is over $50,000 last time I heard. Last NOS still in the crate I heard about was back in the late 80s and brought $60k
But yeah kewl engine, one of my all time favorites
Awesome engine but extremely rare. I have heard that only a couple of hundred or less were made.
More common is the 429 Boss that is again in limited private production but still pricey. They are making new blocks and heads that would look trick in a truck and a one of a kind but you need deep pockets.
