Coolant behavior in Degas Bottle is crazy

All good questions. I dont beleive it would suck air from any other location then the degas bottle.

As far as air in the system from the degas bottle I do not see how as long as all the coolant is at or above the proper level.

That's what mine did and it was HG's.Mine only did it pulling a Load,It would puke out the degas bottle and then level would recede back down until i pulled a load again. Good Luck!

Which HOLE?!?

Here is my question about this..

On the truck Manual, it shows the tube on the top port..


But then on my truck and many others the tube is on the bottom hole..


Could this be causing the problem?!?!

Also, I have an EGR delete and still losing coolant..

I know this is a old topic, but it seems to still be an issue.

A Venturi-T recall changed all this. See the link:

Even with the venturi-T.. Some trucks have it going to the top port..

Look it up by vin...recall was not completed. BTW that degas bottle also shows a lack of maintance of the cooling system.

But thats not gonna say if rad line goes on top or bottom plug..
