While i was rolling back and forth from TN to MI this week, i stopped at a truck stop, no names, but its what we call people who fly planes, anyway, while i was inside dishing out my fuel wad, i found a bottle of DieselKleen, which i knew i needed...so, i bought it...$11 for 32 oz, not too bad for a convenience store...i put the 8 oz required for 25 gallons...left...drove for about 30 mins, and started noticing the motor smoothing out...by the time i had to stop again for fuel, the engine seemed quieter, smoother, and more responsive...i thought to myself, there's no frigging way that 8 oz of this stuff just did this...so i added another 8 oz to the 2nd fill up...and it got even smoother...
I guess my point is, i probably should've listened to you guys along dang time ago...
I have been running Howe's diesel fuel conditioner for a while. I don't think my truck likes it as well as DK. I put some DK in at the last fill up and hope to see my mpg's come back up slightly. It does seem to be quieter with the DK added.
