Hello "Dentsiders" I usually hang out at the "Slicks" forum as I am a fan of the earlier trucks. I was cruising a local wrecking yard the other day and ran across a 76' short box flairside w/ the post-spring 90 degree box.
Based on my looking through the Albums, there aren't very many of them; Numberdummy gave some of the reasons for the scarcity of flarsides in an earlier thread.
In any case, I was contemplating buying the whole truck but thought I'd see what other members had to say. The box is as straight as I have ever seen one and the tailgate is perfect. I welcome your input and opinions.
Personal preference like stated above. And personally I do not like them. lol. In my opinion it doesn't even look like the bed goes to that truck. It's like the bed does not match the rest of the body whatsoever. Say on a 1996 F-150 the bed lines actually are consistant with the rest of the truck.
