Aux. trans filter
Has anybody used the Summit -G4980 transmission filter kit.http://www.summitracing.com/parts/SUM-G4980/?rtype=1 Price is good but just curious if any good or bad thoughts. Also if I add one of these will I have to drain the trans to do it? Should have done this when I did the vb but didnt think about it. Tia, Bill

I like the looks of this filter. my only concern is where the tranny lines go into the tranny is that there is limited space there with the exhaust and a heat shield around the exhaust pipe rite there beside it. you shouldnt have to drain your fluid...just refill the loss if any...Good luck.
