my tranny all of a sudden is acting up,it shifts into od early around 40mph,it only does it if i let off the gas and tap it again,its was rebuilt about 15k miles ago,i appreciate any help

check your fluid. Take it back to the rebuild shop, you should have a warranty. Did you intall it yourself?

Sounds like the same issue I have been having with my E4OD.

It got better after I tinkered with the rear brakes... I think dragging brakes were causing the signal from the VSS to not jive with the engine RPMs and the computer was trying to reconcile the two.

I am still planning to change the fluid once the snow stops... gonna do the rear diff fluid too.

thx guys i just traded my old van in for this a couple weeks ago,but i happened to find one of them carfax sheets in the van telleng me it had the tranny replace about 15k miles ago.I kno this vehicle was maintaned,it was a county van yo haul cons to go pick up trash lol,but anymore info u guys can give me will be appreciated
