source for skidplates

source for skidplates
got the truck off a lot, not ordered, so obviously, it wasn't speced the way I'd have done it.
The biggest lack is the absence of skidplates. I can easily see a stup or big rock breaking the drietrain in this offroad work truck.
do you gues suggest OEM, maybe an aftermarket plate for a nonlifted SD, or bring it to a fab shop.
I tried the local scrap yard and they said no dice.

Warn and Skyjacker make plates for the earlier trucks. They are available from many sources. Use Google, you'll find a bunch.

The OEM skid plates are not much. One covers the fuel tank, and it's pretty good. The other one just hangs below the transfer case and is next to useless. That is all Ford offers. If you want real protection, definitely look for a/m stuff.
