Just thought I'd drop a quick thread about who I am. I have been a ford fan all my life since riding around with my dad in our old farm truck (1990 F250 with the 460 V-8.) I am 18 now and a freshman in a community college in N. MN. I started out the year riding around on a bicycle. NOT FUN! All through October, I was searching the local craigslist. I found and am now driving a 1988 F150 with the 300 straight 6. First vehicle that I've ever driven a manual in. It was quite the experience!!! I'm not very mechanically inclined, so I'll be reading and asking more questions than giving advice. Thanks in advance to everyone who is kind enough to answer questions, and everyone else that I plan on learning from!

ThoughtI'd throw some pictures in:
First one is what I grew up riding in and eventually driving when my dad upgraded for the farm. The 7 mpg that the thing was the death of my wallet throughout high school!
This is what I drive now. I really like this truck but it has some things that need maintaining this summer after school is out and I have time/place to work on it.
