I have a friends blazer that has a driver side door problem. It will not stay lacthed and doesn't shut right. It is tied shut with a rope to the roof rack. I don't know how big of a job this will be and don't want to get in over my head. Does anyone have a blazer around that year that could send me pics of the driver side door hinges?
Also what are the cross years.
I'm going to call around to a few junk yard to see if they have one.
Any info before I comit to doing this would be good. Going to look at it friday.
generally the hinge pins wear out and cause it to sag, there are parts available to fix this. I'm not sure why you would replace the whole door. I did a 2 second google search and found this How to Fix Chevy S-10 Door Hinges | eHow.com
Yes they are, but the hinge pins ain't - as long as they didn't wear into the hinge brackets just replacing the pins and the bushings will be enough to fix the sagging door.
